Hair Removal: The Way Forward

 

After watching Lily Pebbles talk about the different options for removing unwanted hair it inspired me to brave into the world of epilating. I am truly converted. This Braun Silk Epil 7 has become my handy dandy life safer. It comes with 5 changeable heads, the epilator itself, the charging plug which annoyingly needs an adapter as it is a European port. It also comes with some soothing wipes which are lovely for use before and after epilating. Yes, it is (very) painful the first couple of times you use this, so ease into the legs first as they are less sensitive. I would also recommend starting with the "massage head" as it doesn't tug at the skin so much. I have really found the difference in regrowth after using this for over a month now as my hair has got a lot thinner and is growing back a lot slower which is perfect. You have to be patient and work through the pain but I would really say it is worth it once you have got used to it. The prices vary a lot and mine was around £100 but compared to the amount I spend in a year on razor heads I definitely think this is worth the splurge. I bought mine from amazon and there was a really good offer on, so check there first if you're intrigued and looking to buy. All in all epilating has drastically changed my hair removal routine and I am a lot less conscious now.

Well that title sounds rather dramatic doesn't it! A little bit of Luxury

 I feel that facial oils get a bit of a bad rep for causing breakouts by being too heavy and greasy on the skin especially for people get oily patches i.e. me, surely if you use an oil on your face it will cause your skin to become uncontrollably greasy and unpleasant, right? Beauty On A Budget- Naked 2 Alternative

         Like the look of Urban Decay's Naked 2 palette but not loving the price tag? Check out the MUA undressed palette from superdrug for an astonishing £4 compared the Naked 2 which is £37. Both come with 12 different really wearable bronzy shades. The pigmentation and colour pay off is obviously going to be quite a lot better in the naked palette but for the price you pay the MUA palette is a wonderful dupe and can create some equally as great smoky eye looks.
